PRIVACY POLICY

Blyzty does not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share data with the service providers listed below, strictly to operate the app.

If you connect Apple Health, Binggo reads the activity stats you choose (such as steps, distance, and active energy) so you can attach them as proof to a quest post. You control, per post, whether these are included. Health data is used only to provide these features and is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties except as needed to display it on the post you choose to publish. You can disconnect Apple Health at any time in iOS Settings, and deleting your account removes this data.

Photos and text you post are stored to power the app. To keep the community safe (and as required for user-generated content), submitted images may be screened for objectionable content using Apple’s on-device analysis and a third-party moderation service (OpenAI), and text may be filtered. This screening is used only for safety, not advertising.

If you connect Spotify or Apple Music, Binggo reads your recently played / now-playing track solely to let you attach a song to a quest post. You can disconnect at any time.

Binggo asks for your date of birth when you sign up, because you must be 13 or older to use it. Some features (the chip games, Bean Hold’em and Beano Chips) are for players 18 and older and use the same date. Your birthday is kept private — it’s never shown on your profile — and is used only to check your age and, if you like, for the Birthday Quest badge. Once set it can’t be changed in the app; contact support to fix a mistake.

If you choose “Find your friends,” Binggo reads the email addresses and phone numbers in the contacts you share. They are scrambled (hashed) on your device before anything is sent, compared with the hashed email or number on other Binggo accounts, and immediately discarded — we never store your contacts, and names never leave your phone. The app may quietly re-check about once a week while contacts access is on so friends who join later appear in your suggestions.

You can also add a phone number, or an extra email (confirmed with a code), so friends who have it saved can find you. These are kept private, never shown on your profile, and you can remove them or turn off “Let Contacts Find Me” anytime in Settings › Privacy › Find Me by Contacts.

Location is optional and only used when you turn it on (with iOS “While Using” permission). For quest posts we save just the city the quest was completed in, and only show it if you choose to. If you share a location in a chat, your current spot is sent only to the people in that chat. We don’t track your location in the background.

Bean Putt uses your phone’s motion sensors so you can swing it like a putter; that motion data is processed on your device and never uploaded. The camera and photo library are used only when you take or pick a photo. Siri Shortcuts, Live Activities, widgets, and your interest-based feed ordering run on your device.

To run features like streaks, badges, Beanos, Ranked, the arcade, and Bonds, we store your activity in the app (such as quests completed, likes, comments, reposts, messages, and game moves). A Bond is a private friendship score calculated from your interactions with a friend; your Bond toward someone is shown only to you unless you both choose to share a Bond Link. Ranked Score and ranks are visible to other players only if you play Ranked.

When someone reports a post, comment, message, or profile, we save a copy of the reported content and who it belongs to so our team can review it, even if it’s later deleted. Reports and their copies are used only for moderation and safety, and the reporter’s identity isn’t shown to the person reported. If you send us a bug report (for example, by shaking your phone), it includes your message plus basic device and app details (like iOS version and recent app errors) to help us fix it.

If you allow notifications, we store your device’s push token to send the alerts you’ve turned on, translated into your chosen language. If you add your Blyzty ID pass to Apple Wallet, Apple gives us a device identifier so the pass can update itself; removing the pass stops this.

You can download a copy of your information at any time from your Blyzty ID Hub (“Download your information” gives you a readable PDF report and a complete data file). You can also delete your account in the app, which permanently removes your profile, posts, and data, except where we must keep limited records (for example, payment records or safety reports) to meet legal obligations.

We share data only with providers that help us run the app:

• Supabase — database, authentication, storage, and hosting.
• Vercel — hosting for the blyzty.com website.
• Apple — App Store purchases, Sign in with Apple, push notifications, Apple Health.
• Google — Sign in with Google (if used).
• Stripe — payment processing for web memberships.
• Resend — transactional and security emails.
• Google Workspace — our company email, if you contact us.
• OpenAI — automated safety moderation of submitted images.
• Spotify / Apple Music — the song you choose to attach (only if connected).

To understand how Binggo is used and fix problems, the app records a small set of in-app moments — for example opening the app, sign-up steps, starting or posting a quest, using Blyzty Connect, and completing a purchase — with a few details about each (such as whether a post was a duo). These are stored on our own servers, linked to your account, used only to improve Binggo, never sold and never shared with advertisers. You can turn this off anytime in Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Share Usage Analytics; it's deleted along with your account.

If the app crashes, hangs or launches slowly, iOS gives us a technical diagnostic report (app and iOS version, device model and where in the code it happened). We store these without your account so we can fix bugs.

To protect accounts, we keep limited security logs (such as IP address and event type) of sign-in attempts, verification attempts, and unusual activity. These are used only to detect and prevent abuse.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, no opt-out of sale is required. To exercise any right, email privacy@blyzty.com. You can also delete your account (and its data) directly in the app.
